Sunday, July 6th, 2008, was the first anniversary of Pastor Jon and his wife, Linda coming to Peace in the Valley.  As a surprise, a cake was presented to them for everyone to share after the worship service.  Happy 1st Anniversary, Pastor Jon!

Peace in the Valley Calls New Pastor

Rev. Jon D. Scicluna was installed as the sole Pastor of Peace in the Valley Lutheran Church on July 1, 2007.  Pastor Scicluna is a second career Pastor.  He retired as a Police Commander with the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Dept. in Ann Arbor, Michigan in 2004.  After his retirement, he attended Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, IN.  Pastor Scicluna was ordained at his home church in Redford, Michigan on Sunday, June 10, 2007.

Pastor Scicluna is the Pastor of Peace in the Valley, Benson, and Mount Olive, Tucson. www.mountolivetucson.com  He and his wife Linda live in Vail, AZ.
